How VR cams work
A VR cam is filmed with a 180° or 360° camera instead of a webcam. Put on a headset and you’re in the room: turn your head and the view turns with you. Not every performer has the gear, so look for the VR category or tag.
You don’t need to install anything on Stripchat: open the site in your headset’s browser, pick a VR room and click “Enter VR”. XLoveCam’s VR rooms also work without a headset: drag your finger across the screen to look around.

Tips for VR cams
- Use the VR filter or tag. Most rooms are ordinary webcams, so start from the VR category.
- Try it on your phone first. XLoveCam’s look-around rooms and Stripchat’s Cardboard mode cost nothing to test.
- Check your connection. VR streams are heavier than normal cams; a fast Wi-Fi connection makes a big difference.
