What is CamSoda?
CamSoda launched in 2014 and has been experimenting ever since: VR cams, a voyeur house and interactive toys you can control with your tokens. And it’s all free to watch.
So what’s the catch? The men and trans sections are thin, but for everyone else there’s plenty to enjoy for free. Signing up costs nothing and doesn’t need a credit card.
Is CamSoda legit or a scam?
CamSoda is legit. It’s been running since 2014, payments go through Epoch and SegPay, and support is on hand 24 hours a day by email and live chat. You can buy tokens, or never spend a dime.

CamSoda’s catalog of amateur and semi-professional performers is impressive. Some go live for hours on end and really know how to put on a show.
Women
Hundreds of women live at any time, mostly from Eastern Europe: Romania, Bulgaria, Hungary, Russia.
Men
Sorry, you’re out of luck. There’s a men’s section, but it’s mostly a handful of guys who like being watched. Try Flirt4Free or Streamate instead.
Couples
Straight, gay and lesbian couples are all there, but only a couple dozen at a time. CamSoda has some catching up to do with Chaturbate and BongaCams.
Trans
Disappointing numbers. Again, Chaturbate or BongaCams are better picks.
Interface, search and filters
CamSoda feels like a breeze. The site runs smoothly, most cams are HD, and this is what a cam homepage should look like: thumbnails that are live snapshots, refreshing constantly, so you dive straight into the action. The model page is clean, with the tip goal clearly visible and a handy “similar cams” feature.
The tags right under the menu and the filter on the left do most of the work, although performers tag their own shows, so tags can mislead. Don’t miss the private show price filter, which is brilliant. The search bar, on the other hand, only finds usernames.

- Private show: the ultimate one-on-one. The price filter runs from 6–18 tokens a minute up to 120 and more, so you can stay within budget.

Is CamSoda cheap or expensive?
By card in the US, 50 tokens cost $6.99 and 550 cost $49.99: 9 to 14 cents a token, the same prices as Chaturbate. New members get a one-off deal of 300 tokens for $14.99, and a wire transfer gets you 8 cents a token, from $400. Premium costs $19.95 a month and comes with 200 free tokens. Payment options and bank statement
Pay by card (Visa, Mastercard), PayPal (a little dearer), crypto or wire transfer; payments are processed by Epoch and SegPay. CamSoda may ask you to confirm your account and card, and you can get verified to raise your spending limit.

From 6 tokens a minute to more than 120, depending on the performer.

What we like
A great selection of HD cams with plenty of semi-pro amateurs, all the features you’d expect, plus extras like VR cams and the voyeur house. You’re in the director’s chair.
What we don’t like
Spend a couple of hours on the site and the baby blue and hot pink start to grate. And the men and trans sections are thin.
