Free viewing
Both let you watch public shows without signing up. On Stripchat, some performers only let viewers who’ve bought tokens type in their chat. Stripchat also runs a giveaway: every hour, 50 free tokens go to 10 users with a verified email.
Winner: Stripchat, thanks to the giveaway.
Selection
Chaturbate’s selection is unbeatable, and couples are where it really shines. Stripchat has a crazily high number of performers online too, with a huge variety of men and plenty of trans performers.
Winner: Chaturbate for couples; Stripchat for trans performers.
Prices
On Chaturbate, US card prices run from $6.99 for 50 tokens to $79.99 for 1,000 (14 to 8 cents a token), crypto is a flat 8 cents a token, and each broadcaster sets her own private price. Stripchat doesn’t publish a price list: on Stripchat, bigger token packages get bigger discounts, and prices depend on your country and payment method.
Winner: a tie.
Features
Stripchat has VR shows you open from your browser (Meta Quest, Pico 4, Valve Index and more), private and exclusive private shows, group shows and fan clubs from $9.99 a month. Chaturbate has Cam to Cam (video only), private show recordings if the broadcaster allows it, and fan clubs with a green name in chat.
Winner: Stripchat, for VR.
Ease of use
Stripchat’s design is modern, clean and easy to navigate. Chaturbate’s is stuck in the early 2000s, with a cluttered homepage and a chat full of emoticons.
Winner: Stripchat.
Payment and privacy
Stripchat takes cards, PayPal, paysafecard, Sofort, mobile billing, gift cards and crypto, depending on your country, and has a 24/7 support team. Chaturbate takes cards (Visa, Mastercard, Discover), crypto, gift cards, wire transfers and more through Epoch, but not PayPal, and offers discreet 2-step verification.
Winner: Stripchat, for PayPal.
